This fictionalized script (fictional dialogue between Coronavirus and the Philosopher) traces contours of conversation that seeks to fathom crisis unleashed by outbreak global spread coronavirus (COVID-19 pandemic) ensuing anxieties created in our current social living. The scenario deepened isolation self from other (social distancing ‘stay-at-home’ or various lockdowns) is considered, it proposed (by philosopher, I presume) isolation, while an unavoidable requirement, does not mean some mental lassitude but rather may be seen as enthusiastic concern toward recovering physical wellbeing larger communities concerned control possible avenues transmission contagion. meanders around issue quarantine, its attraction otherwise, who benefits this restriction, effects on one’s constitution, etc. Philosophers have been known isolate themselves contexts situations (Yājñavalkya Buddha withdrawing forest; Jain mendicants crossing “the ford”; Stoics society, Nietzsche’s retreating regularly sanatorium; Heidegger Black Forest; Kant’s unsocial sociability Wittgenstein living lonesome lives, etc.) give us a taste what come resist calamity grim engulf entire humanity.
